New Steampunk Airplanes!

The recent days saw me in quite a steampunky building-frenzy. New ideas just popped up and wanted to be made real - here are some examples. More is coming soon!

Steampunk Monoplane

A lightweight, flimsy design orientated on the pioneers of flight like the Morane-Saulnier N "Bullet" or the Fokker E.III Eindecker. I like the its simple but very elegant shape. A quick build where just everything did fit together!

I also had some prims left for my Steampunk Airplanes. So I added a second seat and a few details like sculpted propeller and landing gear. I also changed the wing textures and some colours, making it appear much lighter now.

Steampunk Airplane MK 2

Due to its more simple fuselage the MK 2 Variant offered me even more potential for improvements. So I changed the power transmission from a belt-driven variant to cogwheels. I'm very pleased how it turned out:

And finally I released my Steampunk Globe I too - after I had version II out for about a year. Well I never felt quite happy with it, till I revised it finally these days:

Steampunk Globe I

A very neat addition not only for Steampunk households.

Thats it for now. More new designs will be released soon. I just say that much: I will stay within the theme, but its getting BIG :-)

Most Interesting designs dear Somehow. A little tip, I have a good pulse on the aeronautical and there is good money in Stukas, perhaps that should be your next project.
