No-Theme Dance on Saturday

Just a short heads-up: our friends over at Z&A are having another of their fourtnightly Raven Park dances on Saturday. The theme this time is "no theme", so come as you are or wrap yourself in skimpy fetish clothes. You can't really do something wrong  with that!
The dances are hilariously funny events and the highlights of the SL-weekend. See you there!

The End... Can Look So Damn Cool!

Since all the talk lately of SL's upcoming Armageddon (which I find greatly exaggerated - people say SL is dead since I can remember!) I found it a good idea to show you the beauty of end-times. And what is better for this than the scenic post-apocylptic town of Shoregate!

Shoregate is the project of Cyhtleen, Zen and me. A post-apocalyptic, zombie-infested town with biker-club/fortified compound nearby. We might got a bit inspired by the Fallout-games. Of course - how you can approach the whole end-of-civilzation-theme without Fallout??

Anyway, its a wonderfully detoriated and fucked up place, which still has this special something... charme, style - and a very relaxed approach. Best take a look by yourself:

Driving through the desert you will eventually find the Disaster Area Bar & Grill-Club (a little 'hats off' to Douglas Adams):

As you can see you don't need a bike to drink here. An Airship does it just as well!

For the future (yes - there is even a future after the apocalypse!) we have planned some tools to increase the interactvitiy: Vehicle rezzers for guests, a freebie-hunt and perhaps our own combat system with zombie-infection meter!

Nance Brody Live - Saturday 17 At Shoregate!

Nance Brody is one of the most distinctive and charming voices of SL. Together with her romantic yet seductive songs she makes her concerts an experience you want to have again and again :-)


Coming Saturday, 3 PM (midnight CET) she will play at the Disaster Area Bar & Grill at Shoregate - something you definitely shouldn't miss!

The Disaster Area Bar is outside of the town of Shoregate, which is a little zombie-infested (just a little really!). To provide you a safe journey - or say to at least get you to the show alive - we will organize a taxi service from the TP point to the concert!

The Darkgate opens again tomorrow! DJ Darwin will play again a fine rock and metal selection! There will also be a contest for the best rock outfit! And of course some people might turn topless again ;-)

When: Saturday, March 1st, 1 PM SLT (10 PM CET, 9 PM GMT)

Why: Becuase nowhere in SL will be more fun and better music!

Heaven And Hell - Welcome To The Dark Gate!

A few weeks ago, Cyhtleen came up with the idea for a music club, merging metal (the music genre) and BDSM (btw a quite familiar concept).

If you ask me cages, st. andrew's crosses, pillories, leather and powerful guitar riffs just suit perfectly together and when seeing the club taking shape (and the dungeon underneath getting filled with equipment) I knew this is going to be something really cool.

Here are a few impressions from Sunday's party. More (both parties and pictures) are going to follow:

Because There Can Never Be Enough Airship Pictures

I was in a bit of a hurry yesterday. Cyhtleen threw a party at her club Dark Gate (I will blog about it soon, promised!) and of course I didn't wanted to miss it. Today - after some tinkering with the poses and scripts for the sofa suite - I went to New Babbage for a more proper and extensive photo shooting. As usual the place turned out to be a time-machine: Minutes turned to hours before I even noticed ;-)
It was great fun and since its been a while since I was there last time, I did spot many new and interesting things there.

I think there isn't a more suiting (and cool) way of approaching the city than with an Airship.

Its just lovely to see it floating majestically and gracile through the landscape. A feeling I will be able to share very soon!

Jordan Reyne Live @Cyhtleen's Bookstore!

Before the big opening of the Kreativdorf (creative village) and Cyhtleen's bookstore at Kueperpunk's sim Ataria on coming Saturday 29th, Jordan gave a concert there tonight.
Its always a touching experience to listen to her. She is really one of the most gifted and charismatic performers in SL - no she doesn't pays me to say this! Its simply the truth :-)

Here a few impressions of the concert. I hope to see you there on Saturday too when she is reading her new horror story "Remembering the Dead".

Amazing Video Of The Steampunk World's Expo

The first two days were quite busy and fun! The events were well visited and there was a fantastic atmosphere!

Natascha Randt made a cool video catching the spirit of the sim really well:

I kept myself busy yesterday with trying out vehicles, hunting Air Kraken and dancing at the local Pub:

A small step for a Drow - I think I am the first who went to the moon in suspenders ;-)

That's how I like it: A flying vehicle, a machine gun and some prey to hunt! These fine little Airships are made by Zen Wickentower, a really nice human.

Lovely interior: The after-hunt-dance at the Morlock's Revenge.

One of the highlights today will be the the Battle Car Race at 1 PM SL-time. You can win a time machine and a 500L gift card! Debbie made a really cool racetrack especially for that occasion.

Steampunk World's Expo - Timetable released!

Seems its going to be a fun week :-) Cynhtleen just released the schedule for the Steampunk Expo and its packed with cool activities and top entertainers!

The presentation of my newly updated Aircraft Carrier Prometheus will be held on April 6, at 1 PM.

Steampunk World's Expo: 2nd - 7th April!

I am happy to announce that your favorite Drow will take part on the first Steampunk World's Expo! The event is hosted by my friend Cyhtleen Earhart and her partner Debbie on their sim Soigne!

There is hardly a place more suiting for a Steampunk Expo. A spectacular, tasteful and lovely whimsical location!

Cyht has planned a lot for the expo and best I let her tell it in her own words:

"Our goal is more Steampunk, more action, less music and less readings,

and i think we will archive that.

So what will happen at this Expo:

• see a demonstrations what the best SL Steampunk builders/inventors/engineer are able to do at our demo field
• air kraken hunt's
• shows your skills at flying an airship through a course
• shows your skills at a whacky races, yes we don't just offer you to race on an course, nooo be mean to you competitors !
• show your skills at airship dogfights
• a raffle, everyone wins and be prepared for big prizes, and we are not talking 500 lindens!
• a grammophone session with a scary story oh H.P. Lovecraft read for us from Satu Moreau
• a fashion show
• Steampunk Comedy Escarius Luga
• a great Market, with not only small stand, with 8 shops and stands too
• Some great DJ will rock you !! Goat Ebagge, Touche, Nymlet and Rinha
• of course its Steampunk and Jordan Reyne will be there !!!!
• Russel Eponym and DD will be there too
• and all in an true and only countryside steampunk sim

and much more to be announced !!!!!"

I am looking forward lots to the event and of course I have a few new creations - besides a overhauled Aircraft Carrier Prometheus - which will be featured there :-)
