Yay! Clear Roads!

I just read on this informative German blog that the annoying self-driving vehicles by AnnMarie Otoole, which lagged their way through SL for years are gone now!

If LL removed the vehicles or if she did take them by herself isn't quite clear. Fact is there has been a quite heated discussion about her vehicles for a while now. Things came to a head when the self-replicating vehicle rezzers she put on main land parcels where disabled by LL.

They were a common sight on mainland: Pretty laggy, quite dated looking and their AI behaving not too smart when unexpected things occured (everything else than a straight road for example), which made them going offroad and/or get stuck. Sometimes in odd situations like jumping up an down or continuously bumping against a building ;-)

And I just stopped for a photo opportunity :p

I actually began to hate them when doing my bike tours. You could reliably tell if one of these things was around because driving became notably laggier all sudden. Sim-crossings with them around was likely leading to crashes or at least a huge rubber band effect.
Also its just not nice to ride peacefully on the linden-roads just to be pushed off the track by a huge, prim-itive eyesore of a tank :p

Well, it seems that story is over by now and I hope the roads stay free of these lag-beasts by now

Eye-to-eye with the lag-monster!

The Great And Seedy Zindra Bike Tour - Part 12

Perhaps I should change the name to Pony-Tour, since lately I definitely prefer the happy clip-clop of pony-hooves the deep growling of a bike engine. And this even despite not liking real horses at all!
Pony-girls are just much more pleasant: sexy, less smelly, shiny latex-covered curves, a nice amount of straps and buckles to manipulate and they are certainly more clever than every horse I have met!

After having the role of the pony last time, this episode sees me in the drivers seat again with Emma and Luvia pulling.

Emma-Pony

Luv-Pony

As usual the tour continues where we stopped last time and after a short cross-country intermezzo I spotted something which was either bad building or massive soil erosion:

If you are not sure if you are in RL or SL: views like this should help you tell.

Once you made it inside though it looks not that terrible. The ponies did wait nicely outside of course.

Purple pony! Taffy joins in.

The cart has of course room for several passengers:

Always a little scary to see an adjacent sim disappearing. Let's hope no drows or ponies were on it as it went down.

We didn't came far as Tony (Taffy + Pony = Tony) had a little issue we had to fix on the road. He needed a bigger plug for his tail:

"Let Dr. Some have a look..."

"Don't squirm so much, Tony!"

On the road! Emma and Luvia pulling proudly.

Unlike most of the mainland areas in SL this part of Zindra looks quite acceptable if not stylish.

It really wasnt a monotonous ride. There was even a monorail!

And so many photo opportunities.

Which are good for so many different angles.

Smile for the camera, Tony!

Now this store ad looks ace, or ass?

The secret of good photography is finding interesting perspectives.

This looks quite like the Mall in Washington D.C.

I also picked up a passenger.

Lovely designed landscape. You won't notice its actually the seedy Zindra-continent...

If there weren't a reminder here and there ;-)

One last photo of our three happy ponies!

Quite extensive post this time as the tour was really pleasant and fun! The Route this time did lead straight from Raelma to Wenderley, where I found a parcel where I can rezz a cart for continiuing the ride. The route is really worth taking a look!

The Great And Seedy Zindra Bike Tour - Part 11

After working on my planes quite intensively over the last weeks it's been time for some holiday again, well Some-holiday ;-) And holiday for me means usually switching for a while. So I gave myself in the kind but firm hands of my lovely sub and partner Emma and things went slightly - pony...

*totally agrees to the sign on the cart*

The tour continued where I stopped last time. Again in latex, seems to be a returning theme for me.

Yes, I know: authentic pony bridle missing..

Not far from our starting location we found a japanese-themed place.

They are never complete without pagoda ;-)

Alas, the place was pretty empty; and I don't mean zen-minimalism. Perhaps it wasn't finished yet.
A few meters further we discovered a castle:

Since the castles all look quite the same I made some pictures of Mistress Sunshine and me instead.

Orders a "Pony Walker Red Label"

"I'm not compensating."

I could also prove that the pony cart does well off road, maybe not perfectly though.

Back on the road we discovered an abandoned doll factory. The three letter-word-sign at the entrance gave us also a slight hint of what to expect (RLV, not the other word!)

After passing several entrance tunnels through my skillful handling of the ponycart we made it inside...

...just to get grabbed by devices of varying evilness.

It was quite fun and definitely something different to the usual trap places.

Too bad our excursion into the factory went so fast. I would really have liked more of these little mean traps. Anyway, later on I got a suiting head harness and Mistress Sunshine could convince our friend Taffy to - volunteer:

Ok, I admit the tag "bike tour" is a bit misleading *shrugs and pulls her cart*

The Great And Seedy Zindra Bane.. well "Bike" Tour - Part 10

I took so many photos on my journey, that I decided to split my post in two parts. It's really interesting to explore as bane. Everything looks mysterious from the vision obscurer and the lack of maps and teleporting makes you remembering your path very well. I didn't wanted to literally lose "track" on where the road lead to...

A small japanese-styled wooden house in front of a giant overpriced eyesore.

I just love these wooden frame windows!

And they allow nice reverse-shots!

Seems I stepped into a fairy-tale somehow...

Looks a bit Londonesk with the restricted vision. And the clock shows of course the correct time.

I found even a dungeon!

And eventually the road agian - where I took my rest.

Due to the banishment-restrictions I wasn't able to take the Slurls, or even take a screenshot of the map to document my path. So my actual route will be a mystery even for me ;-)

However Emma gave me the coordinates of the place where they picked me up eventually: Click

The Great And Seedy Zindra Bane.. well "Bike" Tour - Part 9

What to do when its a rather dull evening and you have left your creativity and motivation somewhere at home? Time for a change I'd say.

So did it happen. I was sitting with my first sub Emma at "Domme a Domme" - a BDSM hangout - and after a while something was just in the air. Well, the name of the place might betray already that I didn't picked it by accident...
One word led to the other, keys changed their owners and suddenly I found myself inside the pretty confining tightness of a bane-suit. Locked in for a week.

The Beginning: Just seconds after the helmet closed around me. Leaving me helpless and totally at her mercy.

Kneeling for her at Dark Wishes.

Since my last post of my zindra-tour is already a while ago (dating from February) and I mentioned before that I want to continue with it, my first task was it go on where I stopped last time.

A bane, a plane and a big box of Dari's Junk...

Even banes like enjoying a nice view.

Well, sort of...

A few meters above me I found a treehouse.

With decent furnishing.

Not far away from the tree-house I spotted the inevitable castle.

Which offered me some very nice photo opportunities.

But is pretty empty besides that.

Back on the road...

More coming soon!
